Dr. Liu Xue-lian was born in Xinjiang in 1979, China. She received the B.E. degree in Electric Power System and Automation from Shandong University of Technology, Shandong, China, in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree in Electric Power System and Automation from Shandong University, Shandong, China, in 2006.

Since 2006 she has been with College of Computer and Information Engineering, Beijing Technology and Business University as a Lecturer. Her research interests include Power System optimal operation and control, Power Market.

LIU has published about 10 papers and a book.
